I just realized that, in my earlier post, the body of the post didn't even remotely support my point of view. Sorry abut that. I have no idea what I was thinking.
If anything, it supports nyc's point o f view. 😉

My philosophy is to understand why something doesn't work.
And I take one step and usually the smaller step first which in this case is replacing the use of the 64-bit DLL with 32-bit DLL and trying that DLL with the LabVIEW 7.1 executable. If it works, problem solved.
I don't see the need to upgrade unless there is a reason to upgrade. In this case, the LabVIEW 2013 is a nice-to-have. Not a need-to-have.
It is this philsophy which explains why I am still driving an 11-year old Honda with 185K+ miles. 😉
