I have many PC and until recently I haven't got much problem with installing Labview 7 into win 7 32bit.
Now probably the drivers have ben upgraded and installation is no longer possible.
I realised that LabViee itself is not problematic. Problems begin with installation of drivers (MAX).Therefor I used third party visa librarries and it works
Well if it has worked before, then why didn't you use the driver versions from when it worked? Newer NI drivers don't support LabVIEW 7.1 (it may work but is not tested), since LabVIEW 7 is over 10 years old. If they would keep testing with every release of LabVIEW since 1992 then no drivers would ever be released anymore as the testing fixing and retesting would take to much time.
Basically if you have to touch a system with software that has been released more than 10 years ago, you will always be better of in not just touching it but also upgrading it to a more recent version. Yes it might be painful but so is trying to get to run old applications on Windows 7 or 8 and and especially getting the old drivers to support old hardware to run in these newer systems. Bascally a new DAQ board costs often less than 2 days of engineering time and that you can spend easily when trying to get old hardware and software to run in a modern PC.
The claim about needing to recertify an application if it gets upgraded doesn't really hold true either. Either it needs recertification on any form of touching such as when replacing hardware or the recertification claim is a more like a joke. So if it breaks down and you need to replace hardware (and OS) you better bite the bullet and upgrde the application too.

You probably want to start using actual versions of LabVIEW too. It usually helps to provide non-imaginary information if you'd like to reach a non-imaginary solution.
