Labview 8.5 starts crashing and loading extremely slowly

The effect on the timing depends on how the code is architected. Instead of answering for a variety of potential configurations, if you could post your code or even a screenshot of your block diagram I should be ble to provide a more helpful answer. I hope you had a good weekend!

Thanks for that advice, I am still unable to access the program now at this point in time so I cannot post up the code, but I did receive notice that the computer which runs the program needed its battery replaced... After getting the newer battery, the program seems to run smoothly and this helps in improving the performance of the program. So I suppose it was an unrelated problem --- unless this is just a coincidence and then perhaps another reevaluation would then be helpful. Thanks for all the help for now though, since now I would know how to optimize my programming for the future. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!!
