Labview com port communication error/driver failure

Dear people from this community, I am sorry to have generated a post with a problem, and 2 days later,  I generate a post that SOLVE the problem. As I think it will be useful for other user of Thorlabs TSP01 revB product, I would like to share with you the correct Labview program that is capable to work on Win11 64bits with TSP01 product.

I should not do that but once again, I feel this is useful.

1- install the Thorlabs program version 2.1 to control the TSP01 temperature reader. It is a compact USB temperature reader, with 2 temperature sensors input. I use only 1 input. I can also measure humidity.

2- there are 2 models of TSP01, and the most recent one has a label "revB" that does not need to install NI VISA. It is not working using .NET (to answer previous comment).

3- the attached example provided by the maker, is working nicely on Labview 2024 Q1 , Win11 64bits. This example was not included in the tabview library that you can get online. So I share it because it is very useful.

One can see that the resource name is generated by a sub-vi and converted from string to a I/O. Note that the TSP01 does not appear in Device Manager of Windows nor NI MAX but it is OK.

Hope it helps.

You are wrong.  This is exactly what you are supposed to do.  The main point of these forums is to share knowledge.  It is good that you found a solution and it is even better that you are sharing the solution you found.  Hopefully, we as a community were at least somewhat helpful in directing your thought process to find this solution.
