You have to define 'delay'. In the last VI you posted, you have a delay where it waits until 200 bytes are available. How long does it take for the instrument to generate 200 bytes?
Can sombody can help me I am new in labview,I want to use rs232 to send a character (a,b,d,f) by visa but need to use saperate switches for each character.
You really should start a new thread since you have a different problem. Also, post what you have tried (attach your code) and explain a little better what you problem is.
