Hi,
I was using labview 8.5 and windows vista 32bits and all was working fine. Then i had a little problem with my laptop and needed to formatt it. Since I own a legit copy of windows 7 pro and I am planning on adding more RAM up to 4 GB, I decided to install Windows 7 64 bits.
Since it seems like that only Labview 2009 has support for 64 bits OS, I decided to install the Labview 2009 64 bits evaluation version.
Then I installed NI-488 drivers for my GPIB to USB converter, so I can access my tektronix scope remotely.
For last, I installed NI-VISA 4.6.
In MAX, everything is ok and the device is detected through GPIB-0. The only problem is that every time I try to run my circuit, it gives me the error:
LabVIEW: (Hex 0xBFFF009E) VISA or a code library required by VISA could not be located or loaded. This is usually due to a required driver not being installed on the system.
=========================
VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF009E) A code library required by VISA could not be located or loaded.
Already tried to reinstall or change the installation order for NI-VISA 4.6 and NI-488 drivers, but it is the same. I also tried some fixes like renaming visa32.dll and visa64.dll and then repairing NI-VISA drivers, but nothing works.
I really cannot remember if I was using VISA 4.2 before. Do you think this could be the problem?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Phobia
Error 0xBFFF009E is oftenlink to a problem during installation of NI-VISA as expalined on this link.
As Windows 7 is not yet officially supported by our drivers, it will be difficult do help you more.
You can check also that drivers (VISA and 488) are supported on Vista x64 (OS closest of Win 7).
You will find on this link more information regarding 64-Bit compatibility for our products.
