We have recently migrated from suse to redhat. We have experienced a strange behaviour of the "system exec.vi" when we try to launch external scripts or programs, the program executed can be put into some sort of queue and but not properly execute, only one application is drawn in X and other visible in
terminal > ps aux
Even tough labview-application indicates that the application have been run and and "RUNNING" have stopped
When any of the external application/scripts is closed the other programs imdiatily opens.
This is a major issue for us and we can not see where the problem originates from
We have tried to pinpoint the problem but im clueless, external scripts are perl wrapper to start java with some pre-conditions and another java application.
But even ordinary programs like xterm will cause the same issue.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga)
Both on and LV 9.0 and LV 2011
Any clues or ideas ?

Even if labview is closed the applications is still in this queue and first application needs to be closed until next can execute
