MGI Solution Explorer SFX flagged as a virus?

I've just started trying to use the MGI Solution Explorer. One of the neat things it can do is create an "SFX", or self-extracting executable, that contains an installer. This way you can distribute a single file, which self-extracts the installer, then runs setup.exe. It's not critical, but it's a nice feature.

I'm using it to build two versions of my app- one that includes only the app itself (about 26 MB) and one that includes all of the drivers (DAQmx, VISA, etc)- which is 1.07 GB. The app itself version is useful for upgrades when no driver components have changed.

Unfortunately I'm getting some odd behavior. If I run the "full" SFX file locally, it begins to self-extract just fine and starts installing. However, if I copy it to the network, then trying to run it there gives me a popup: "Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software." with error code 0x800700E1. Trying to run again just gives me another error, "This app cannot run on your PC."

Oddly, copying the file from my local machine to my network changes the folder icon from a "zipped file" (but still an exe extension) to a regular exe icon.

Once it's on the network, I can't copy it back to my machine, or even change the filename, without getting that error.

I'm new to these SFX files. Is there something in them that makes Windows think there's a virus? I can run the no-drivers version from the network just fine, and copying the build folder to the network and running setup.exe manually works fine.

I haven't been able to find any Windows Defender logs or anything that tells me what's tripping a virus scanner, and Google doesn't have anything about this error and LabVIEW. Have any of you had this issue before?
