Hello,
Measurement & Automation Explorer gets the listing for the COM ports from the windows registry. Can you verify that your COM ports are properly showing up in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE»HARDWARE»DEVICEMAP»SERIALCOMM?

Hello,
When you installed NI-VISA, did you make sure that Configuration Support was selected as a feature to install? You can modify the installation by going to Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->National Instruments Software->NI-VISA, then select Modify. This will allow you to see what features you have installed and which ones you don't. Make sure Configuration Support has been installed.

Hello,
Based on your last post, I cannot tell whether installing configuration support fixed your problem or was already installed. Which is the case?
