Hi Everybody,
I have a pirani gauge with measurement range of 5*10^-3 to 1000mbar and the respective voltage is 0 to 10v, that i have connected to the NI USB-6008.
Here the range which varies from atmospheric to vacuum is little confusing me.
Initially the gauge which will be in the atmospheric pressure, which means 1000mbar and when we apply vacuum the pressure decreases and it will goes below amospheric pressure and enters the vaccum pressure.
Here the range which takes from atmospheric pressure to reach vacuum pressure is1000mbar to 1 mbar respectively it takes 10v to 5.6v(approx) and from maximum vaccum pressure to min pressure it takes 5.6v to 0.01v(approx)
My doubt is, is this the appropriate condition the pressure gauge actually works? and if you say so, how to map the real time values in a application?.
To map the values, do i need to make a manual calculation?
And here the one more problem is the range which the pressure transfer from one state to another is continously varying.(it means sometime it takes between 5.3 to 5.8)
