Switching to interrupts is going to give a higher latency to transfers from the DAQ device to your PC--since there's no buffer on E Series cards for counters this makes a tighter limit for the rate you can acquire data.

 

I'll have to do a little more research to see if there is a suitable workaround for your case.  Out of curiosity, did you get the chance to scope the signal coming off of your comparitor?

Actually we had to present our project already, so there won't be a need on our end to find a workaround for this issue.

 

We did scope the comparator output at several points thinking that somehow it was triggering prematurely (noise) and thus giving us some erroneous times. However, scoping the comparator when the apparatus was working (in 1D w/ C0), its output behaved as expected.
