Hai,
Im still a Beginner to LabView and need some help.
I am using Picoscope 4000 Series for the measurements. I am using one of the examples provided by NI, PS4000.llb (PS4000_stream.vi), and discovered that the computer or LabView is very slow, or not showing any data at all, when i change the Sample Rates to 60 M S/s. I even tried at 30 M S/s, i did see some data being stream but really slow.
The problem is i need to measure at the frequency of 30 MHz. As i understood, i will have to set the Sample Rates double the measured frequency.
I think it has to do with the Samples Rate and Number of Samples. or maybe something else.
I would be really glad for the help. 🙂

Hi Wendler,
sorry for the late reply.
here is the link to the dll from picotech.
Somehow i figured it out, i have no problem since. Instead of using PS4000_Stream.vi, i used PS4000_block. To my understanding, this vi does not stream the data directly, but save it in the Scope before sending it to pc.
I hope its the right way, since i have no problem after using a different example.

Hi NatNeuWe,
You want to have a look at the webpage below
http://www.picotech.com/education/oscilloscopes/data-acquisition-modes.html
It explains how the data acquisition modes work with Pico Technology devices.
If you require more information please feel free to post on the Pico Technology forum (http://www.picotech.com/support/)
