Messed up NI Max

Comms to my cRIO are not working in LabVIEW

So I opened MAX - it shows up under Remote Systems but I cannot log in and it shows up as having inconsistent IP settings

I connected via another PC running LabVIEW and all was well with the cRIO. I wandered around MAX looking for clues

. . . . and then went back to my own LabVIEW PC. The biggest difference I noticed was that under My System in Max, it shows No Network Adaptors whilst at the same time it can locate the cRIO

I've uninstalled Max & LabVIEW and re-installed it but still have the same problem

I have to use Troubleshoot Remote System Discovery to get this. It starts off with ‘Inconsistent IP settings’

Network Settings appear OK

So why No network adaptors found ?
