MyDAQ parts kit?

Where can I find the parts kit for these projects or is there even one?

I just posted this to someone else's message.  Weird.

Actually, myDAQ and myRIO may be two different things...I'm not sure.  Double-check before buying.

The one linked above has a 34-pin connector on it that only appears on the MyRio.  This one is a breadboard connecting to the 20-pin interface shared by both:

However the one that works for both doesn't come with wires, components, etc.

I just opened the case of my own myDAQ (in the original 14"x9" hardshell case) to inspect what came with the original myDAQ when it was first released.

  • myDAQ
  • Coil of hook-up wire
  • Pair of banana-to-probe leads (one black, one red, like for a VOM)
  • Standard USB (A) cable to connect myDAQ to PC
  • Stereo audio cable (mini-stereo plug on each end) for myDAQ audio ports
  • 20-terminal plug for connector on the side of the myDAQ
  • Kit of colored hookup wires (ends bent at right angles breadboard connections
  • 6.5"x2" breadboard (Bredblox Model No. 9830, Elenco Electronics)
  • Second breadboard built onto 20-terminal connector on side of myDAQ
  • Cute carrying case (with foam inserts to hold components securely)

Kits from Digilent for the myRIO (which has different connectors and (other than the name-similarity) a very different gadget from the myDAQ) does come with lots of "parts" (LEDs, resistors, wires, capacitors, switches, pots, pans, etc., as well as breadboards designed for the myRIO's connectors.  But no fancy carrying case.  (I have one of these, too).
