MyRIO disconnects after 20 minutes

One more thing. You can use wireshark software before buying the USB HUB if you like.

With wireshark, you should be able to see if there are any intermittent disconnects (Attempts to reconnect) of myRIO or observe what is going on at network layer with myRIO.
