NI 8451 and error -301711

Hello,

  I just got my DIO ports working and the 8451 that I just received. When I try to add the SPI port to the code and run it I get the following error message -301711, which means............

Possible reason(s):

NI-845x:  There are no more resources available to create a new configuration reference. Reuse an existing configuration reference or close an unused configuration reference.

Can I simultaneously use the same device for the DIO and the SPI port?

Thank you for contacting National Instruments. Yes you can simultaneously use the same device for the DIO and the SPI port. Are you creating a new reference for the device when doing DIO and SPI. If not, try creating two references. Let me know how it goes, thanks.
