NI-Max Can't Snap Image from Lumenera Camera

NI-MAX V18.0 can see the Lumenera Infiniti 8-8 microscopy camera but can not snap an image: "No Decoder for selected pixel format". Error 0xBFF69037.  I was not able to select a different pixel format in the drop-down.  Any assistance is appreciated.

LabVIEW Vision is fairly complicated and complex, particularly if you are not dealing with "simple WebCam" things like straight-forward Snap and Grab.  It does look like the Lumenera Camera uses (some of) the GenICam Video API, so IMAQdx should be able to "figure it out", but you'll probably need someone with considerable LabVIEW Vision expertise.

I noticed that the Video Mode that MAX was displaying in your Post was "unknown".  Did any of the other Video Modes show a "known" Format?  If the Camera and MAX can't "agree" on how to interpret the Pixels, you are probably Out of Luck.

I looked at the Lumenera Web Site, but didn't see sufficiently technical specifications that tell me the gory details necessary to make a better "guess" if IMAQdx will be able to utilize this Camera.  If you can get a technical manual from the company, you might be able to learn what Image Formats they support.

Thanks, Bob.  I was able to snap an image from IMAQdx so I should be good to go...  I also contacted the vendor since they have a downloadable LV plugin so they should be familiar with MAX.
