Dear All,
Iam Facing a issue with Open Circuit Fault. I Want to know what is the reference voltage to check?
As the connections mentioned in the image, I am able to apply faults using the Switch Relay VI's by opening and closing the VI's.
Topology Iam using is 2510/Topology only.
1. No Fault - Iam Reading the voltages applied at the 6704 PIN and 7842R Pin. Both are reading same values Using GUI.
2. SHORT TO BATT+ - Iam able to read Battery Voltage (+10V) connected on 2510 pin 43 on 7842R PIN 66,32 using GUI.
3. SHORT TO GND - Iam able to read 0V on 2510 pin 43 on 7842R PIN 66,32 using GUI.
4. OPEN FAULT - When Iam trying to perform this operation, Iam reading -10v in GUI on the 7842R PIN corresponding channel in GUI. When we connect a multimeter between DUT 43 channel and GND 47 on pxi 2510, the voltage is showing 0.2V on multimeter and the value which we are reading from 7842R Chl no in GUI is dropping to 0.2v and when we remove the multimeter it is changing back to -10V.
So My Questions are:
1. What is the Open Circuit Voltage that will be read on the DUT Channel in PXI 2510?
2. When measuring the Open Circuit Voltage what is the Reference Ground, we need to Use so that GUI value and Multimeter Value matches?
3. Do I need to make any more additional Connections?
Thanks in Advance.
Ramesh.
