NI Requirements Gateway -- When not to use?

When should we not use NI requirements Gateway?

Can you please throw some light on any of the following options:

When the requirements are fulfilled by more than 1 application

When the application is too small with few requirements

When requirements are described by multiple documents

Which one of the above make sense?

I am investigating the same question after recertification. In the training material I didn't find any information about this, but agree with this statement:

The option that makes the most sense regarding when not to use NI Requirements Gateway is:

When the application is too small with few requirements

NI Requirements Gateway is a tool designed to manage and trace requirements, especially in complex projects where there are many requirements, possibly sourced from multiple documents, and potentially fulfilled by multiple applications. For small projects with only a few requirements, the overhead of setting up and using a sophisticated requirements management tool like NI Requirements Gateway may not be justified. In such cases, simpler tools or manual tracking may be more efficient.
