Recently, Norton (Symantec) 360 Premier decided that most installation packages for LabVIEW, the NI Updater and other NI products are high risk viruses. This is clearly not true. Can the NI engineers contact Symantec and ask them to update their definitions? There are far too many files to do the 'exclude' one by one. Do you NI software engineers need more screen shots from me for evidence?

NI Update Service a Virus?

In late June, Symantec updated the Norton 360 software to the version 22.5.0.124. This new version created an issue with false heuristic detections. The Norton support created the patch 22.5.2.15 to resolve this issue which was released in July 21. Please update the Norton software to 22.5.2.15 or above to resolve the problem. Then, run another scan to verify problem is solved.
