NI Vision IMAQ ReadFile Returns Error BFF60401

I'm trying to open a large (~30MB jpg) image file with the NI Vision IMAQ ReadFile VI.  I get error 0xBFF60401 (-1074396159) - not enough memory for requested operation.  With a much smaller file the code works fine.

Does the IMAQ ReadFile VI have an inherent limit to the size of file it will open (I believe some file sizes were limited to ~2GB in previous versions of LabVIEW) or would this problem go away if I increased the memory available to LabVIEW (eg by using the x64 version under Windows 7 on a computer packed with RAM)?

I'm using LabVIEW 2009 SP1 with the 2010 Vision toolkit on Windows XP.
