NI cDAQ-9174 not recognizing NI 9213 thermocouple module

I am trying to use the NI 9213 module to measure temperature. I have a NIcDAQ-9174 and I have two other NI 9221 voltage modules that are working fine. I cannot get the Measurement and Automation Explorer to recognize and support the NI 9213 module. Things I have tried include:

• Check compatibility
• Resetting MAX Database
• Checking physical module connection

How can I support the NI 9213 thermocouple module?

What version of LabVIEW are you using? 

What version of MAX are you working in? 

What version is your DAQmx driver (this can be checked in MAX)? 

In addition, make sure you have validated every step in this KB.
