I want to transmit canbus data over NI9862 on a compactrio 9053. I have loaded RT and XNet. The card appears in MAX and self tests fine. IF I run loopback test to a borrowed second NI9862 it works fine. However the final project will not have a listening NI9862
If I take that example and remove all the read elements the vi runs fine and shows no errors but the bus monitor and the 9862 LEDs indicate that nothing is transmitted. What am I doing wrong?
I cannot get any of the ni examples other than loopback to transmit data. the bus is powered and physically terminated
