NIMAX want open since upgrading to 8.5 LabView

Measurement & Automation Explorer 4.3 will not open or run since upgrading to LV 8.5.  MAX worked prior to upgrade.

I am running XP SP2 PRO.

Hi Wally,

Try uninstalling NI Measurement and Automation Explorer. You can reinstall it by using installing any driver since MAX is not available as a separate download. 

What is the message that you when you try to open MAX?

I click on the NIMAX Icon and it comes up with white blue window version 4.3.  After about 2-3 minutes it comes up with a message (Microsoft ) M&A has encountered a problem and needs to close.

EVENT LOG shows:

Faulting application nimax.exe version 4.3.0.49512 faulting module nihdvui.mxx, version 5.0.1.568, fault address 0x0001b.7b.3.

I going to do a reinstall tonight.
