I am a senior at a university. To be honest, this is the first time I have used Laview for image processing, and I am familiar with OpenCV. I want to classify objects, but I have some problems before starting:
1. I don't find the function SIFT or SURF in Labview so I have to change to use the color to classify objects. But my object is PCB circuits and using color to classify them may sound ridiculous, although it can be available. Are there any functions like SIFT or SURF in Labview? Is it normal when I use color to classify PCB circuits?
2. If I really want to use SIFT or SURF, I have to link Opencv to Labview and then connect with PLC. But why did I not use Opencv at the beginning? I want to use only Labview for image processing, and Is there any solution for this?
