I was explaining a Logging Actor to a co-worker recently. He was dumbfounded to why a I needed to code anything. Doesn't LabVIEW have logging functions why do you need to write any code at all? "
"Uh...pass fail, limit checking, file format, file type, filtering, automatic file split on size/time, post processing finalizing report, keeping track of failures, database control, FTP uploading, yeild calculation, email/text functionality, summary reporting..." at that point he stopped me but I still don't think get gets it.

That was a typing mistake I should have said "I still don't think he gets it" and by "it" I mean the fact that I do software design, and development, not use some pre-made tool to do my work for me that I just need to configure.
