Need migrate from Linux RT to Phar Lap

Hi,

I'm having NI Controller 8840 which is having Linux RT in it.

I need to migrate from Linux RT to Phar Lap OS.

Please suggest me how I can do this.

There is no migration path. What do you try to do? What hardware do you want to move to?

Either you develop in LabVIEW Realtime for LinuxRT or for Pharlap ETS, but aside from being able to load most VIs on both systems provided the LabVIEW version is compatible, there is not really any migration path.

Support in LabVIEW Realtime for Pharlap ETS was discontinued by NI in 2019. You will need LabVIEW 2019 or earlier to develop anything for a NI Realtime Target running a Pharlap ETS system.

Pharlap ETS was in 2009 announced to be EOL in 2012 or thereabout and discontinued by Interval Zero, the owners of Pharlap ETS in 2013.

I already had Labview 2018 in my system.

Currently we have Linux RT on PXIUe-8840 Controller.

Please suggest how to migrate on Phar Lap as we are using Labview 2018 only.

You seem to have some sort of misunderstanding here. LabVIEW Realtime for Linux RT is supported since LabVIEW 2011 or somewhere thereabout. So you can perfectly develop for LabVIEW Linux RT systems in your LabVIEW 2018 version. There is no need to move to Pharlap ETS unless you use a hardware target that has no LabVIEW Linux RT support.

But since your PXIe-8840 system already is running Linux RT according to you, you simply can develop for it in LabVIEW 2018. Why do you want to change it to Pharlap ETS?
