Hello if somebody can help me with the following VIs they were included in a legacy software from 2000:
I need them, as when I open the Legacy Software with LabVIEW 8.6.1 it shows them as blocks with a question mark.
Thanks

When you open the old program, what is the path that it is expecting where to find these VIs? What version of LabVIEW was used? I looked in version 7.1 and could not find them and the names do not ring a bell. It's possible that they were custom VIs and not part of any LabVIEW distribution.

They definitely sound like custom VIs to me. 🙂 (kudos)

The version used was LabVIEW 6i, they are definetly not custom VIs. They were distrubuted from that LabVIEW version.
I cannot find any references to any of the VIs doing a google search - not that it means anything. The reason why I suspect they are custom VIs is because they all have names that seem like special implementations of standard VIs.
I must confess, however, that LV 6 pre-dates my involvement with LV itself.

If I remember correctly, there is a FTP site of ni where you can download LV 6. I guess the link was once posted in this forum.

I know they are part of LabVIEW 6i as the Engineer in charge of the Legacy code did not use any custom made Vi, I had the same issue with a previous VI and I send it to NI for an update as it was obsolete in the newer versions.
OK, but you still haven't indicated in which directory LabVIEW is looking for the VIs. When your top-level VI loads it tries to load the subVI, indicating the path in the search dialog. What is that path? That will help in identifying where these VIs came from.

I have LabVIEW 6i on a virtual machine and I can't find those VIs.
