Sorry, Bebeto:
To me, everything that needed to be discussed has been discussed. It matters not to me where the VIs came from. It just matters that your problem was fixed. 🙂
I just couldn't resist the last dig.
I'll monitor this thread but won't offer any more silliness. 🙂

Okay, I lied. One last, mostly serious comment here:
This has turned into a battle of the egos here. We don't need to twist Bebeto's arm about where he found it and everything just to prove one person right and another wrong.
I have my beliefs and they are probably aligned with the majority of the opinions here. I won't twist Bebeto's arm any more, although I will ask, for the education of the forum:
Bebeto:
Are you certain these VIs came with the original LabVIEW install? There is a lot of anecdotal evidence to the contrary. I am asking this because what we don't like doing here in the forum is knowingly disseminating false information. I ask, for the integrity of the forum, that if it is merely ego that is preventing you from admitting a mistake on your part, to please put it aside and admit these are not LabVIEW original install files. If, on the other hand, you can confidently assert that these VIs came with the original install of LabVIEW then please do so. And please state your reasons for believing this.
I will remind you why we do not yet believe your assertion that these are, in fact, VIs included with the original VI install:
Whichever answer you give, remember that the forum deserves an honest answer.
Thanks for listening!

I am not being egoist, I am pretty sure the VI were from a really early version of LabVIEW, I cannot assure this as I don't have that early version installed in my computer.
I talk to the original programmer of this LabVIEW code and he repeatedly told me that none of the VI were made by him as I also thought about that possibility.
I have those VI in my computer as a result of having copyed the files from a CD he gave to me. This CD contained the executables and the LabVIEW code source, therefore it had the necessary VI to make it run.
That is what I have, if you want to believe or not, that is a totally different story...

Cool, what more can we ask than you being firm in your convictions. That's really all you can ask of anyone. I hope you understand why we're skeptical.

If these VIs weren't made by the programmer you talked to, they were made by somebody else. This doesn't imply that it was NI that provided those, but maybe some collegue of your old programmer.
