NiDC Power Measure multiple

Hi,

I am using the Ni PXIe 4143 card. I have a VI that powers up card to certain voltage level.  Now I am trying to create a separate VI which will only measure the voltage and current on the supply without reseting the supply. I understand that I need to "initiate a session" to the device before I use the "niDC power measure multiple.vi", however everytime I use the initiate session, it will reset my device and set my voltage level back to zero. Can you please explain how I can create a VI that only measures voltage and current without changing their level?

After initiating, why don't you call the VI that sets the level? Doesn't this separate VI also call the initiate function? Think dataflow.
