No Network adapters in NI MAX

Hi,

I am trying to connect the cDAQ9189 chassis to my computer via wifi router (tp-link wifi6). I see the connection just fine in NI Max under the section my system>>Network settings (Please see the attached figure 1).

However in NI Max I can not find any network adapter (Please see the attached figure 2) and I can not find any cDAQ9189 device that I can add to my list of devices (Please see the attached figure 2).

I have attached another figure where list of software is shown (Please see the attached figure 3).

Please help me out with this issue.

Note: I want to connect my NI DAQ through wireless connection to my PC for data acquisition.

Thank you

Hi win,

why do you think the cDAQ9189 will support WiFi?

And why do you connect that TPLink router via USB to your computer?

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi GerdW,

Thank you for your response.

I forgot to mention the connections. I have connected my TP Link router to cDAQ9189 through LAN cable. Then I have connected TP Link router to my computer through wifi (ofcourse wireless connection). This way I am expecting cDAQ9189 visible in my NI MAX software, and thus wireless connection between NI DAQ chassis and my computer.

Thanks

Hi,

Now I can see my NI DAQ (cDAQ9189) in the network devices but I still see no network adopters. However when I try to add the device It shows the following error (Please see the figure (4)).

Thanks

Which IP addresses do you assign to each device in this chain?

Hi GerdW,

I add IP address from my TP Link router. But these things get automatically assigned.

The subject is totally misleading, since Figure 1 clearly lists three network adapters.
