Ocean Optics USB 2000+ not recognozed by Ni-MAX

Solved!

I have an Ocean Optics USB 2000+ that I'm trying to use with LabVIEW 2018 on a Windows 11 PC.  I need to get the VISA resource associated with the device, but the device isn't recognized by Ni-MAX. The spectrometer works just fine when using the Ocean View software.  I've tried downloading and installing the device drivers from NI.  I get and "not enough memory" error when trying to install the .inf file.  Not sure what to do next.  The NI device driver lists the very model I have.  I don't think it's a wrong driver problem, but I suppose it could be.  The device is recognized by Ocean Optics Ocean View software and works just fine, but I cannot get it recognized in LabVIEW.  The install directions that were provided are attached.

and replaced the divers that were installed by Ocean View and reported as the most appropriate with the ones provided by when I downloaded the drivers from NI.
