Right, that's the first step to the make frameless/borderless picture ctrl. It leaves a 2 pixels gap between the drawing area and the invisible border. When you resize the ctrl, you will see it.
To fix this, customize the ctrl, make drawing layer and the mask same size; and put the mask layer on top.
Then aputman's thick can be used to replace the mask with a 1-pixel frame.
