PXIe-5110/5111/5113 - not available for Simulation in NI Max or Hardware Configuration Utility

Is there any particular reason the devices mentioned in the Subject are not available for simulated devices?  Do I have to use the PXIe-5114 as a simulated O-Scope even though I plan to use PXIe-5110 in actual real world use?  Is the 5110 outdated or something?

As long as the available simulated models have comparable features you can use them for simulated testing. Please note that the behavior of a simulated instrument is NOT exactly the same as the actual instrument.
