I believe that this is certainly on target for this thread. Now, I'm no registry expert, but browsing through I found an entry in TypeLib for win64, but no entry for win32. So, is it as simple as adding some entry for a win32 call to the Office16 EXCEL.EXE? It seems like even if it is able to point to the EXCEL.EXE that it still might look like it's working, but might be an unstable call from a 32bit environment.

I would suspect that, yes, that is all you need to do. However, I never went ahead & added that entry in so I cannot verify if it worked or not or even if something corrupted.
