Pop up a running VI (not with SubVI)

Is there anyway to load a vi in 'running state' using vi server reference ?

Yes, use can do with invoke node and vi server reference.

thanks, I used this with FP open and im getting a vi pop up, there is one more thing the VI that pops up is running in a an odd fashion. Its running and not running, like switching states, and when I click on the FP the vi stops running all together, until I release the click.

Ok I got it 🙂 i was using a case structure in the vi that I was calling, so I used a while loop with it. i guess it was polling the case structure.
