I can see a bug with tip strips on individual tabs of a tab control.
Normally, these tips appear just above the tab. But it could happen, that these tips appear at the edge of the screen!
This was also seen here: Bug in Tab Control by the user wired (in his last post).
You can force LabVIEW to move this tip strips away from their normal position by simply moving the BD window with the scroll wheel of your mouse!
Open a new vi, put a tab control on it and give each tab a little tip strip.
Then hoover with the mouse over the tab (with showing tip strips on) and wait until the tip appears.
Now move the BD with the scroll wheel of your mouse.
The tip stays at it position on the MONITOR and the tab control moves down. The tip will disappear short after moving the BD.
Now, go back to the tab and wait until the tip appears again.
But at this time its position is NOT just above the tab!
If, during your development phase, you move the tab control around your BD, the tip could end on the edge or corner of your screen.
This wrong tip position on one of my tab controls has survived an upgrade from 8.5 to 2009.
And I can see this behavior also with my LabVIEW 2010!

Hi,
There was a little fault in my original post: You have to move the control over the FrontPanel and not the BlockDiagram to see the bug!

Hi,
I can NOT reproduce this unter LabVIEW 2011.
The Tip stip stays at the mousecoursor as you scroll. once you move the mouse it disappears and when you mofe over the Tab control it appears again. right below the mouse.
Looks like it is fixed with LabVIEW 2011.
You can try with the Eval version ov 2011.

This does exist in 2011 when using panes. The fix still works though.
