Problem with applications builder - run when opened always checked

When trying to create an application under source file settings: the run when opened box is checked and will re-check itself after I uncheck it. Run when opened is not checked in the VI properties.

Which version of LabVIEW are you using.  I know one of the 8.x's had an issue with "run when opened" in app builder.  There were a couple workarounds but I can't find them at the moment.  If we know which version you are using, we can determine if it is an existing issue with workaround, or something new that needs investigated.

Yes I want to create an application that does not run when opened. I am using version 8.2. I have created many applications this way but this is the first time I have had this problem.

Search for "run when opened"

The issue was fixed in 8.2.1.

An application really should run when opened. maybe the best fix would be to make some simple modifications to the VI.
