Actually that would be useful. I gave it my kudoes.
To clarify, the 64-bit counter I'm using (VI created by someone else) is actually a timed while loop running on the 40 MHz clock and incrementing a shift register every iteration before writing to a control. The tick count is being used elsewhere by way of local variables.

I have been used the example provided by NI finder and merged it with 64 ticks count
and it work fine for my dc motor
