Quickly run a exe

Hi all,
I made a simple exe which is called in a special program (no C, no Labview...).

The exe is a single vi which the exe arguments, write data on C:\, and close.

The problem is that launching the executable take "a lot" (several seconds) of time, and if my program call the exe 2 times in a few moment, the second isn't recorded...

Is there a way not to open the front panel of the main vi ?

Any other idea ?

Best Regards,

There are several ways to not open the front panel. One method is shown in this link https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-14607. Not showing the front panel might not fix your problem though. The delay you are experiencing may be part of the time launching the run-time engine.

Hi Ramses,

Type into the Search field "DOC-14607" and you will find the document.

If the Exe closes slow, the question is, how do you terminate your program?

HI,

this doesn't run the exe in "silent" mode : there is the application icon in task bar...
