RT Controller not booting from the hard disk

Hello,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

 I am using an 8176RT controller with LV8.5 RT when i am trying to boot from hard disk my monitor shows Loading Labview Real Time ...... and halts there only. But when i boot thro a floopy disk its booting properly. What might be the problem can one comment on this.

Hi Aks,

It seems the system on your RT controller is corrupt. I've seen that too sometimes.

You can reformat the RT controller using the format floppy disk, then use MAX to copy LV RT and drivers.

That's strange. Did you really format it? I think you need to type 'yes' at some point.

After formatting it there should be no LV RT on the controller, so it can't hang at "Loading LabVIEW Real-Time..." after successful reformat.

Ya i Know its strange but its true. I have tried fromating almost 10 times. I dont know whats happening.

Try reinstalling RT on your host system.

If that also does not work.... contact NI support in your country.
