Read Log File Format

Solved!
Go to solution

There is a software called Op Torque Field Test V2.1. made in Labview for adquire data from another device who is the transmitter. My problem is that it saves the data in a *.log file format that just can be opened in this software, but when I try to open it in an own VI, i can't do it. I don't know how to read this file.

Could anyone help me please?

Attached I leave the file.

Hi martinandre,

You will need to talk to the developer to find out what format the .log file is in. If there is a way to save your data to a different file format, that would be the easiest way to solve your problem. However, I suspect the reason it has been stored in this format in the first place is to facilitate use with this particular program and the file format is not designed to be ported to other applications. You should talk to the company that wrote the software.

Cheers,

Duncan W.

Can you publish screenshot from the software of the primer_parado.log?

Or say if this VI reads this one correct...

With multiple profiles it will need some modifications.
