Requesting USB instrument search VI

Hello

Would anybody have an example VI which searches for a single USB address.?

I have a system with a single USB instrument and I want to be able to search for that com-port 

(through a consecutive list of com-port addresses perhaps)

this sort of works but I'm wondering if somebody has something a little more sophisticated approach?

Is there a reason you can't just use the built-in VISA Find Resource function?

Well thank you I guess I've gotten a little bit lazy in my old age that's exactly what I need

( sometimes I end up doing the lamest things and I guess I learned that way)
