Required NIPathsDir Property MAXAFWDIR Undefined

I am trying to download the NI vision image acquisition software but I keep getting this error:

Fatal Error!! Required NIPathsDir Property MAXAFWDIR Undefined

Does anybody know how can I solve it? or if there is any other way to download NI vision image acquisition software?

I am using a windows 10 virtual machine in mac.

This is only a guess, but I suspect this is related to passing "Windows parameter settings for some aspect of File Downloading" through a VM running on the Mac.  

Since you are only downloading a file, find a Windows physical machine (even Windows 7), download the file (say, to a USB key), then import it into the Windows 10 VM on your Mac.
