I need to be able to set the torque of a motor in the robotics simulator, however I can only find VI's for setting the motors speed. It seems someone had exactly the same issue back in 2013 here, I'm hoping something has been done since then to fix this oversight?

To the best of my knowledge, the situation did not change since 2013. It seems that the main purpose of the robotics simulator is to simulate the movement and read out the applied forces afterwards and not the other way around. I agree that it would be nice to have such a functionality and I hope that it will be implemented.
