Rs 232 communication

HI All

 I am New for LabVIEW ,  We want to Make Automation With PLC , So in My Company For testing Purpose We are Using yokogawa wt310e Power standby Equipment to Industrial PC with rs232 communication In LabVIEW Software after Complete the test Result will Show like Pass And fail Based on the settings. So I want to take that Pass and Fail signal from LabVIEW rs232 from industrial PC COM Port , Please suggest me that how can I proceed for purchase the Suitable PLC company and How to Judge the Signals in PLC and LabVIEW , Please Help get out from this problem.

If you have LabVIEW and NI-VISA installed then go to Help >> Find Examples and search for Simple Serial or any other serial example.  This will show how to do basic reading and writing to serial ports.  Beyond that if you are new to LabVIEW you may want to read up on the basics of the programming language.

Did you already downloaded the driver for the WT300 series ?

You can find it here. The driver has some application examples.
