Good afternoon, All,
I have designed a VI for Oscilloscope using Lecroy 9404M with 40GS/s .
The receiver output converges a lot with that of the Noise floor level.
I have exercised reducing the RBW and averaging the output signal to enhance the SNR level but doesn't make the output better.
Any suggestion is highly appreciable.
Thank you.

Can you show what your signal looks like now? And describe or illustrate what it ought to look like?
Also any details on what your hardware and the connection to the scope is. If you have problems with signal vs noise it's not always possible to sort it out with parameter changes, sometimes it's a hardware issue.

Thanks for your feedback Kyle.
Hardware connected to the Scope is an NI PXIE 5433 as the Function generator.
I am working on some detection of odd and even harmonics where the second harmonics almost coincide with the noise floor level. Trying to find method of improving the SNR for the receiver output.
Thank you again.
