Has anyone used a VI to actually dump a screenshot of an Agilent 8720 (or related, like an 8753) network analyzer to a JPEG? Right now I'm using the instrument drivers to dump trace data to a CSV file with no problem, but I couldn't find a driver for a screen capture. I would think this should be possible, as Agilent has their Intuilink program, which does just that. I tried using NI-Spy to see what this program was doing, but it didn't seem to pick anything up.
I realize this has come up before on the forums, but I coulnd't find much.

Hi,
I looked through the instrument driver and I couldn’t find anything like you a screen capture. Do you have the manual to see if there are commands to do this explicitly listed? If you know there is another program that can do this you can use a GPIB+ card and create a GPIB analyzer capture. Ni-Spy only captures calls on the driver level so if the other program does not use NI VISA it will not capture anything, the GPIB analyzer however connects externally and therefore will catch all GPIB bus traffic. From this you be able to recreate the appropriate calls and see what data is returned. Hope this helps!
