Hello,
I am looking to use a PXIe 32 Channel thermocouple card to measure temperatures on a lighting fixture in a controled chamber. My issue is that, I want to meaure temperature on some parts that may have max of 130 V and another themocouple may be touching metal that would be nuetral. The fixture is not grounded. If by some chance that 130 V would go from channel to channel, is there anything to protect the card?
I looked on the tech specs for the card and noticed that there is no channnel to channel isolation that channel to earth fround is 300 Vrms.
Thank you for your time and I hope to have a quick response.

Much danger. I have had success by wrapping thermocouples in Kapton tape. You response time will be slower, so account for that. If you don't know what Kapton tape is, Google it. It has a very high dielectric strength. A few layers is all you need.
