Simulation of CAN bus on NI CAN

Hi, I need to simulate the working of CAN bus where i transmit a message over the CAN bus and also receive it. I don't have any hardware and I've read on some other forums that messages can be transmitted and received over a virtual CAN with the help of NI-CAN. I tried the virtual CAN device simulator example but i get the error attached below. I'm new to Labview. Any help will be appreciated

What is the error you are seeing? You didn't attach anything.

This example is meant to be used with actual CAN hardware and CAN Demo Box.

To use the simulated CAN interface, you specify the virtual interface CAN256 and CAN257. See Frame to Channel Conversion - NI-CAN Documentation
